Need some help please

I trying to find out what size transom is on a 1990 Seacraft 18cc. My friend owns this boat and he wants to repower with a 25" engine, but he doesn't know what shaft length he needs. Does anyone know? Thanks

tell your friend to go outside with a tape measure and measure from the notch to the keel. It should be pretty clear at that point [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

If it is a 90, it should need a 25 inch motor.
