Brad,
I was told not to wax it. Awl Grip makes a polish and a wash but no one seems to carry it.
Don't ask me why your not supposed to because I've waxed it and it dosen't seem to hurt it.

I love the Collinite insulator wax or the fleet wax. Try it out, you'll like it.

I recommend using the boat 10 times more often than you usually do for about 4 more years then paint her again. It’s kind a like petting you dog after it scares off a thief.

Capt. Brad,
I Gripped my Hatteras in 1999 and just put the first coat of wax on her last spring. A friend of mine painted his the same time and his rig , a 40' Fitz, still looks great , he washes his boat once a year with vinegar. It still shines awesome.
I just put straight wax, no cleaners.
Also there is a new wax I am going to try on the Donzi and Cars called Frenzy Wax, just got I 'll let you know.
My Seacraft seem to be in the stalled position now.
Sooner or later I'll finish her up.
