The 1970 cc I/O I bought last year has a 1993 engine that supposedly was rebuilt in 1997. No way to be sure of that. It runs okay, but is a real "uknown" that bothers me. I've looked around on the web and was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion about where to purchase a new mercruiser 3.0. I put a new manifold and riser on it last year, so I've already got several new parts on the existing engine. A friend helped (did most of the work) me take the engine out last year to clean it up and inspect it. So, we can do the work. Looking for a good price!
