Potter Bracket

I just got my new "Potter Bracket"

I will be painting the bucket to match the boat's hull color and then it will be mounted after the transom inclosure.

Hats Off and many thanks to Mr. Potter for such a fine design and outstanding craftsmanship and Don Herman at Hermco for a fast and speedy delivery

Hey Chuck,
Do they make a bracket that will fif an O/B?? I don't want to fill in the transom beacuse we do alot of diving. The motor is mounted on some funky bracket that looks like a jack plate. I like yours better. Let me know please. I'll post a pic wen i get home.

Re: Potter Bracket

This bracket is for an OB. Seamark also makes a transom/bracket enclosure with a door for your diving. It will fit right in your existing cut out.

If I'm reading your question right...
That bracket is for an outboard....and B. Potter builds a version with a "transom closing system" that has a "small gate" to walk through to the bracket. This version of the Seamark bracket "hangs" in the notch so to speak ...then bolts to the transom. Look on Don's website and here are some of his pictures where you can see what I'm talking of ....
