1971 20' SeaCraft cc for sale

1971, 20 foot SeaCraft, center console, with trailer, for sale. This is a project boat that will probably need a transom job, but the rest is cosmetic. It looks like a "temporary" transom repair was done at some point and now needs additional attention. But the transom appears to be generally solid (I used it for the past 3 years with a 150hp engine with no problems). The deck is solid and in very good condition overall. Hatchcovers are all original and in good condition. The hull has a less than professional paint job over the original light blue gel coat. Old bottom paint. The engine and controls were recently sold and are gone. Serviceable, single axle roller trailer that needs sandblasting and paint. Compass, fishfinder, running lights, fuel gauge, teleflex steering, bilge pump all work. Fuel tank is under the console and seems fine. I was going to repower, but have decided it is more of a project than I want right now. I should be able to email pictures in the next couple of days. Boat is located near Salisbury, Maryland. Asking $3,500.00 or best offer. Email inquiries to gsheller@longbadger.com

Man Garrett, aside from your Seacraft and that Grady, it doesn't look like those boats have been moved from that yard in 10 years. What the story? Any other good finds?

Good luck unloading your rig. Looks like it has lots of potential.

gw204, Thanks for the plug. I really thought my boat would be sold by now. It seems like the type of project boat that people on this site look for. Maybe there is a glut in the project boat market!

As for that boatyard, it's just an old, small backcountry yard on Maryland's Eastern Shore where a few old fiberglass boats have grown roots. There may be some finds in there, but no other SeaCrafts.

Garrett,Reading your last post speaking of old eastern shore boatyards makes me a little homesick,I grew up in OC and ran charterboats out of the Angler dock before coming to the Keys.Hang in there someone will come and take her off your hands.Joey
