Trailer - where to align bunks ?

Ok,

Now that I have done the majority of the work to the boat, a 23' Tsunami, I have started to gaze at the trailer that came w/ it. It ain't pretty, but it will get me to and fro 2X a year ( and thats all I need her for ).

It is, I think a mid 80's, Rocket trailer from Florida ( not really able to confirm, as the Rocket trailers I contacted down there have no clue of the type of I-beam, galvanized trailer I have ).

The trailer came up from Fla w/ (2) float-on bunks - each bunk is comprised of: (1) pc of 6' long x 4"wide x 6" high wood <- this is U-bolted to the trailer - poorly, I might add. Then, bolted to those are 6'long, 2" x 8" pcs of wood mounted flat so the boat would lay on the 8" surface.

THE QUESTION: ( sorry it took so long )

What is the dead-center measurement that these (2) float-ons "beds" should be, so the boat is properly seated ?

What is the total legnth of these beds ?

Thx,

Alan
