making a liner (part 1) splashwell

Last weekend I traveled down to visit strick to get some help making my first mold. After working through some tricky measurements, I came away with a pretty sweet first mold that was worth all the effort. Thanks Again Strick!!

Your Welcome!! but I think you had it all figured out pretty much before you came over.

So tell me is the white thing the finished part we are looking at in the last four pictures If it is then I'd have to say that thing came out Damm Good!

That's the finished splashwell (without doors). I have to fill one area where the gelcoat cracked (top right corner of the right recessed pocket) . . . otherwise this piece is done.

You guys are light years ahead of me. Keep up the good work. I have a feeling a few of us will be begging to use that mould.(sp?) PS Trayder, we need a spell checker on here.

I'm missing something here. Is the first pix not your boat, but an example of what you wanted?

That first pic looks like Seafari's 20' MA that he sold recently.

Warthog - That's right. I found the pic of seafari's MA and copied the design. The circled green area was the goal.

I screwed up on the design a little. On the original MA's splashwell the front of the splashwell and recessed side pockets are all at the same height.
