Just found this site. HELLO
Long Time SeaCraft owner. When I was a kid, the family boat was a '69 Safari 20. I found a 20' SF on a beach back in '83. It wasn't too pretty but it was a Seacraft. Lot's of elbow grease and, well, I still have it. Seeing a SeaCraft on Long Island was extremely rare.
There was a company called SeaMark many years ago, they sold new parts for old (seasoned) SeaCrafts. I can't find them now. Does any other company sell old (seasoned) seacraft parts? |

Seamark still exists and is owned by Bill Potter (not sure if there was a different Seamark years ago). Right now they make a floatation bracket that a few members have on their 23's, as well as a pilot house. Check out HermCo's site for more info - www.hermco.net. That's a really nice 20 you have. What color gray is that? You'll notice there a few LI members on this site and I'm sure they'll chime in any time soon. Welcome to the site. |
Re: Just found this site. HELLO
Thanks for dropping the Pics on for me.
The color, well, I played Chemist with Black and White until it looked 'right'. It ended up being very close to 2 parts white to 1 part black. I put the bow rail on many years ago, I like the High proud look and we do much more recreational type boating then Fishing so it's not in the way. I bought my windshield from Seamark back around '83-'84 time frame. That was before computers in every house. I tried the yellow pages and the web since then with no luck. Well I guess I found this Site that will help me out. |
