Costs

I recently bought a '74 20SF. As expected, the transom and decks are bad and must be replaced. Assuming I have someone else do the work (I am a small business owner and, as impressed as I am with the photos of the work done by all of the handy guys here on the site, I won't do it myself), what sort of cost is involved in replacing the decks, transom and repainting, to a high quality finish? Assume all of the hardwear and wiring has been removed (which I am doing before and after this post). Thanks for your input.

Your not going to like this. Ballpark off the top of my head.
$10,000 with using PVC core's and Cossa Board core for the transom. Awlgrip paint.

If you are going to go to the trouble of replacing the floor, do yourself a huge favor and raise the stringers by several inches. Your feet will stay a lot drier as a result and it won't really add that much to the cost of the overall project.

If you indicate where you are located, you will likely get more area specific prices and probably the names of some competent yards.
