Wiring Help

I'm having some trouble getting my fuel guage to work after I did some re-wiring. It worked before I got happy with the snippers. There's only four post on the rear - sender, ignition, light & ground. There seems to be two ground wires and a sender lead coming off the tank. I hooked up the obvious but no luck. Am I missing something? All suggestions welcome.

Re: Wiring Help

RC, the senders and guages I have worked on have ignition or some 12 volt source, light, and from the guage the sender wire should go to the sender and back to the ground on the guage. The sender in a tank is a resistor which provides more or less voltage depending on tank level. If that does not work let me know and I will tell you how to trouble shoot to see if you have a bad guage or sender.
