Bilge Water

My 83' SC20 has me scratching my head. I don't have many hours on it yet, learn something everytime I'm out. Excessive bilge water has me stumped. Water collects in the middle & port sides. I have new plugs, both screw tight & lever types - both types/areas seem to let water pass. Am I missing something?

Re: Bilge Water

RC,

It's not the plugs, it's the through hull fittings, odds are they (all) need to be removed and re-bedded with 4200. While you're in there, check for moisture in the transom drain plug fitting. There may be more going on than meets the eye...
