Question for Rodney Dangerfield

Hey Chris-

How are things? Stripers still around or did they head south already?

What kind of fuel efficiency are you getting on that 225 Suzuki of yours? I had Dr. Suzuki (Scott at Viking Marine) go over my motor a few weeks ago and I am trying to find a baseline comparison of fuel efficiency so that when I get a Navman computer I have something to compare it too.

Re: Question for Rodney Dangerfield

Hi Ed,
No job interviews in the spring right?

I get 3 mpg. @4000-4200 rpm on the
floscan turning the 18" Suzi prop. 10 GPH = 29-31
MPH. Max RPM is 5600-5700 with the 18" wheel.
This engine is more economical than the EFI
Yamaha I had, Especially the oil consumption.
Did Scott change the oil flow sensor?

The striper fishing is still good here in
30-50' water down the beach. Had a good
year with about 400 bass to 42lbs. I pulled
the boat out tonight, but will surfcast in
Montauk if the water temps hold.
