merc problem

Hey everyone,
My boat is basically completed finally. Now that I have everything togeather, I was able to crank the motor(150 efi merc) today. It cranks but never fires. I went through every thing but I just cant figure what the problem is. I wd-40 the whole thing, cleaned the plugs, and made sure it was getting gas. What else should I check for? Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
Thanks,
George
ps this is the first time since this summer that the motor has been cranked.

Congrats on finishing your boat George!!

For the engine problem . . . If you're getting fuel to the cylinders and the engine won't fire you're probably not getting a spark, b/c some aspect of your ignition system isn't working properly. (Maybe check your kill switch first) then check to see if you're getting spark on each of the plugs.

Great to hear your boat is nearly finished!

Double check your kill switch connections. I have seen that problem pop up more than once.

Thanks guys,
You are probably right, I totally forgot about the kill switch connections. Wednesday when I get some time off of school I will look it over. I will post pictures soon also.
