We should all be as lucky

I just got back from looking at Jason's friends new boat and all I can say is it's a sweet deal. The transom is solid, I jumped up and down on the shaft(that doesn't sound right?) and got very minor flex. The deck seems to be rock solid all the way aroung, some hatches are a little soft. No rush to replace them in my opinion. It has minor stress cracks in the aft corners and a few scratches, but nothing you wouldn't expect on any other boat for that year.
The trailer is junk as expected. The motor has a newly rebuilt lower unit from the Suzuki deal and is good to go.
All in all the boat could be splashed and fished today. I tend to think the boat was very well maintained up until recently.

Go ahead yuck it up MOFO's. You guys would be the ones to know about jumping up and down on a shaft or in your case's sliding.

Hey Chuck, this HIN really throws a wrench in our thinking, any thoughts?? It wasn't what I was expecting to see on that boat.

CSY = Carribbean Sailing Yachts (1980-1982 23'& 27' SeaCrafts only)

TXY = Sarasota Marine Corp ('86-'88 CSY Parent Co)
SIC = Tracker SeaCraft of Fla (1987 thru 1990) all models
SXC = Stern Craft Corp (1994 Silver King Parent then Tracker Parent Co in 1995)

Well, I'd have to quess it's a CSY constructed hull as TXY was their parent company and the location and time frame was when they had the 23' molds and tooling in the Tampa/Sarasota area. The hull was produced June 1981. I think any hull popped after August was titled the following year
