We should all be as lucky
I just got back from looking at Jason's friends new boat and all I can say is it's a sweet deal. The transom is solid, I jumped up and down on the shaft(that doesn't sound right?) and got very minor flex. The deck seems to be rock solid all the way aroung, some hatches are a little soft. No rush to replace them in my opinion. It has minor stress cracks in the aft corners and a few scratches, but nothing you wouldn't expect on any other boat for that year.
The trailer is junk as expected. The motor has a newly rebuilt lower unit from the Suzuki deal and is good to go. All in all the boat could be splashed and fished today. I tend to think the boat was very well maintained up until recently. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../Untitled6.jpg Good luck with it John. Go ahead yuck it up MOFO's. You guys would be the ones to know about jumping up and down on a shaft or in your case's sliding.

Hey Chuck, this HIN really throws a wrench in our thinking, any thoughts?? It wasn't what I was expecting to see on that boat.
