She was 63 lbs, 8 oz. It beat the previous record set last January by 8 oz.

Hmmm how far is Va via boat ??

"The rockfish measured 50½ inches long and had a girth of 33 inches."
"Lots of 55-58 lb fish caught"

Right time , right place ....we were out a few days before Christmas (weather has been super unseasonable) and found a lot of fish ..so many fish it was like jigging pesky bluefish...but all in the slot range ... I few larger fish had been caught a week earlier ..... BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!!

Man what a trophy for the wall !!
