I've had my 1985 Sceptre for about eight years and love it. It's all original including the cabin cushions. It's a small boat that can run with the big ones. It rides great, it's sturdy and has alot of interior deck room. I have two small kids (under five) and it's been a great family boat. I have been looking for a reason, any reason, to move up and I can't justify it. It's too good of an all around boat. Check the deck, transom, and fuel cell. Best of luck!

Best boat I've ever owned. Dry,soft riding, strong, no complaints. Wish I hadn't sold mine. Let me know if you need any help. Can't say enough good about this boat.

My father has an '82 and as Matt and That70sboat have already said, it is a great all-around boat. I'm more of a center console guy myself, but you can't beat this boat for its weather protection with a full canvas enclosure. Storage is great because of the cuddy, and the ride is, well, it's a SeaCraft!
