SC 23 CC Knockoff ? ... Interesting transom !
I have been meaning to post these pictures since I took them last March in Hopetown, Abacos/Bahamas. What drew my attention to this boat was the transom. It accomplishes the safety of a closed transom and the setback of a bracket, but I think it has a more streamlined look than a bolt-on type 30" bracket. Furthermore, I don't think this bracket/splashwell is 30", but it appears to accommodate the tilted V6 easily (I wish I had measured ! ... Is 30" really necessary ?). For the CSI/Horatio among you who will investigate this criminal activity (Seacraft counterfeiting) and report back on who made this knockoff, I wrote down the first part of the HID # (It began with OPM2332****). Here are the photos ... I hope I posted them properly.

I have seen a couple of those boats in south florida. I believe that it might be an ocean pro or something along those lines.

There is one in Key West. I think it is owned by Sunset Key. It sits out on the cruiseships dock.
I had no idea it was anything other than a mod. SeaCraft but from these pic.s it does look like another knock off. Interesting |

Re: SC 23 CC Knockoff ? ... Interesting transom !
Guy has (had) an OMC dealership in Pompano in an old Quonset Hut off Sample Road just east of dixie. He splashed the mold from the 23, then took a mold off the 24' Intrepid transom and pieced it together to make his cap and hull mold. its a 3 piece boat and he did a decent console mold as well. most boats he rigged had 225 johnson 2-s. this goes back 6-7 years when he was putting out 5-6 boats a year. solid glass, nothing too high-tech, stringers were wood unless you spec'd and paid up. I have forgotten the name he marketed them under...
