If only i was wanting to re do another boat. I like them really bad, I figure what ever I do would be a improvement.

I posted about a boat that was hurricane damaged awhile back in ft myers. I thought ned2nav bought it. It had a hermco, but had a yamaha on the back. Same kind of damage.. I wonder if he just got the motor?

Unfortunatly i never got the boat nor the motor. The problem was that the motor was frozen (even though they say it never sank), we also could not tilt the engine up to get it on a trailer since the boat sat on a lift. Plus it has the damage you see on the pictures. I was supposed to pick the boat up, and when i went to pick it up we inspected it some more. We came to find that it had a crappy job job on the transom, when they cut the arc, and redid the back, they did not seal it right, and inside the bildge they left some holes, exposing the wood from the transome. So to recap really quick, you would need to repair the bow, the cap, the inner liner, the hull, the center console, the brcket, and finally the transom. The other sad part is that i do not have the space to keep a boat the be able to tear it apart and redo. My house does not have enough space along the sides to put a boat in the back yard either, which is another reason i was not able to get the boat.

ned2nav,

what kind of damage on the inner liner and hull (beside the bow)? is the floor solid?

thanks
