Wanted to Buy - Hynautics H25 Helm Pump
 

I took my Hynautic H25 helm pump to a local hydraulic shop. I brought it there because it was leaking fluid big time.

They opened the unit up and said that the casing is shot and is not worth the repair.

I am writing to see if anyone has a working H25 helm pump out there that they would sell me. I can buy a new one for $570 but would rather not, if at all possible.

As a last ditch effort I will be shipping my helm unit to Charman. Tey agreed to look at it. Since they repair Hynautic units for a living I am a little hopeful that they can replace the necessary components at a somewhat reasonable cost.

However, if I can still find a used H25S unit out there, I would be interested.

Pete - I bought a bell housing for my h50 from charmen and rebuilt the unit myself for $62. Also I'm 99% sure that the seastar helms work perfectly with the hynautic cylinders (you'll probably need new hydraulic lines). The nice part about the seastar helm is that you take the pressurized canister reservoir out of the mix. Seastar reservoir is built into the helm.

Which Hynautic Cylinder do you have?
