What year are Potter Hulls???
OK, here goes my first post. I have been searching for the right center console project and would have to say, the Sea Craft has captured my heart and interest. I have done some restoration work before and somewhat know what I'm getting into. One question I'm not able to answer, and I did search the forum; what year are the "Potter Built" hulls? What's so special about that hull? Use for the boat will be inshore and costal saltwater fishing for bass, fluke, tuna, etc. The boat that is of most interest would be a 23' center console with inboard power. (just prefer inboards) Is this too tall an order? I look forward to participating in this great forum! Thanks in advance.

Re: What year are Potter Hulls???
Are they all the 20 and 23' hulls from 69-may of 80, or only certain HIN?

Re: What year are Potter Hulls???
They are ALL hull sizes from '69 to May '80.

Re: What year are Potter Hulls???
Thanks. Now all I gotta do is find a "Potter Built" inboard 23' and get to work. The search begins.

Re: What year are Potter Hulls???
John,
There are a few really nice 23 CC inboards for sale in NJ and 1 in CT. Check yachtworld.com or boattraderonline.com. |
Re: What year are Potter Hulls???
Thanks Scott - I saw them and there are some nice rides listed. For whatever twisted reason, I'm looking for a 23' project boat. I would like to repower with diesel and any of the newer ones online have newer gas motors. I'm in no rush either.
