Suzuki 4 strokes?

Is there any new info/ updates on the Suzuki 150 or 175? If so any specs?

Thanks,
BA

quick google search turned up this...

"The DF 175 and DF 150 Big Block 4 cylinder 4 strokes, the latest addition to the range, were unveiled at the 2005 Miami International Boat Show."

that is about all i could find...

There is a very interesting post going over on IBoats about a big Suzuki that was left tilted up, but touching the SALTWATER and the lower unit had a hole ate in it and saltwter entered and froze things and Suzuki says it is not covered under warranty because of the corrision. I would tend to agree with Suzi. That hole was not the fault of the manufacturer. Someone at their dock had a load of stray current that caused the hole. Maybe boat insurance would cover the loss.

That should be covered by most insurance policies. It's also why I have a big ol' block of zinc bolted to my hull and grounded to my motor and to my brass electronics grounding plate. I was amazed about 20 years ago when I had brand new zincs on my rudders and propellor shafts on my 26' JOhn Allmand eaten away to almost nothing after less than a week at a dock in the Bahamas where the electrical lines passed through the water.
Imagine where I'd a been w/o those zincs
