I bought one from www.bobsmachine.com and it is great - clean simple and adjustable.

My father put a Rite-Hite manual jackplate on his 23 Sceptre and it works real nice.

I have had a similarly good experience with the Bob's plate on my '69 20CC hanging a 130 Yam. It is adjustable and offers either a 5" or 2.5" setback.

I don't know the brand of mine, but it came with my 23' that I purchased in the fall. I am anxious to see how it works. Mine is hydraulic and is adjustable 6" up and down. Seems like that is the way to go for shallow water fishing. I am mounting it within the month because I am spraying the boat this weekend. I'll let you know how it works.
