transom on 20 ft seafari

drilled several holes in my transom. doesn't look good! i would like to try to rebuild it myself. i have adequate tools and am not afraid to get into a tough project. i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. i was also wondering if anyone was in the cape cod area with transom repair experience that would be willing to help for cash or trade(20 years arborist, tree removal.), plus beer and a hot meal. if your out of state i have extra rooms (two houses) 2 miles from nauset beach, 2 blocks from boat ramp. my wife and i do summer rentals. new to website and seacrafts thanx for any help. Tom Hynes.

where are you located. I have no boat work experience but do own a 71 seafari. We are looking to get an honest price on some tree removal in Chatham although (5 trees).

Tom,
I have zero transom rebuilding experience, nor do i live out of state, but can I come stay with you anyway? I know exactly where Barn Hill is and I sure love fishing out at Monomoy.

Just kidding of course. You live in a great area, I'm quite jealous.

Now we know where to have the 2006 N.E. gathering... Will that transom be done by then?

Tom, sounds good. I'll let you know how the schedule turns out.

Mike_D, I'll call my cousin tomorrow about the trees. Maybe you can work something out.

Tom,

I go to Yarmouthport from time to time. My in-laws live at the end of Bass river. Would love to see your boat and offer any advice I can. I did this on my 20 sceptre a couple of years ago. I don't have any plans for going up there as of yet.
