That boat came threw this site. I can't remember where or when, but it did.
I just remember thinking it was under powered with twin 115's. Sweet machine though.

Hey guys, just registered at the sight. I am the guy that bought this rig. I too had concerns that she would be underpowered, and even made an appointment to change her out to Zuke 140's.
I splashed her this past weekend in Stone Harbor, NJ and had a captain buddy of mine run the boat with me for her (my) maiden voyage. This is my first boat and wanted instruction and a check ride. We ran the boat offshore from Stone Harbor to Cape May (approx. 18 miles) and she did great. WOT is more like 40 unless you trim her perfectly but we cruised at 29 knots the whole trip. She gets on plane nicely and the captain (who had serious doubts about the power before riding her) thought the boat was perfectly outfitted. He advised me to not change a thing. Of course more power is always desirable, but I don't think she is underpowered by any stretch. Plus, for my means I spent enough on the boat and upgraded electronics and I don't think there is many times that I could run her offshore at more than 29 knots anyway.

I was wondering where that boat went! I live here in Va Beach, and used to drive by it every day on my way to and from the Eastern Shore. Pretty boat man, Congrats, you picked a great first one.

Thanks for the compliments. I am really enjoying her so far and think that I got a bargain versus going new compared with the capabilities of the boat.

Wow! That is nice looking. Very clean. Do your new electronics include autopilot, or have you already trained her to idle around the dock until its master is ready to exercise her? Maybe you should name her Retriever because she will be loyal, eager to please, and will always bring you back. Almost as good as my Golden.

Welcome to the forum. Best of luck. And, with any luck at all, you not only just bought your first boat, but possibly your last, as well. What a score! Vezo, Part II.
