Electrolysis - sacrificial zinc ?

I want to extra protect my outdrive from electrolysis and corrosion while at my dock. I have one of those heavy zinc fish w/ a cable and a large battery-cable-like clip on it.

I was thinking of internally running a ground from my (-) battery terminal and bolting it to the inside of my SS thru transom tow hooks. Then, just clipping the fish-zinc on and off this now grounded SS tow hook.

This way I can clip it on and off easily.

Can you see any problem(s), or negatives with this idea ? ( Other than forgetting that I have the zinc hooked up, taking off and loosing it... )
