Ladder Question -
I just put a full swim platform on my 23' Tsunmai i/o. I want to install a ladder so when swimming around or beaching it we can get on and off w/ EEZ. I was thinking of one of those Windline telescoping ladders. Anyone have one ( or a better option ) and, if so - does it work the way you want and do you need a 2 or 3 step one ? Thx |
Re: Ladder Question -
I have a 3 step Windline telescoping ladder bolted to the top of my bracket and really like it.
I would get the 3 step - makes boarding easy. The only complaint I have is that when collapsed and on top of the platform (in the stow position) it tends to rattle. I solved that by dabbing some silicone (or any sealent) on top of the mounting screws so it prevents the latter from rattling on the mounting screws when folded on top of them. |
Re: Ladder Question -
Thx for the response... Has anyone had experience w/ a telescoping (3) step ladder that mounts and stores under the platform... Thx |
Re: Ladder Question -
I can sell you either an aluminum or S.S. ladder that mounts under the platform. The S.S. is pretty nice. I will take some pics and post them to my web site for you tomorrow.

Alan
I have one of the SS ones from Hermco under my Potter Bracket. It works real nice. Push the little red button and out it comes. Telescopes back under with just a "click" http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ack/ladder.jpg |
Re: Ladder Question -
That's the one I want Capt Chuck. I had a bracket welded on for the Armstrong style Pogo stick ladder, but then you have to store it.

Re: Ladder Question -
OK.. Thx. One parameter I have to work within; the SS, AFI, platform support brackets give me only about 14" between each bracket to install under-platform ladder hardware ( this is just how the AFI teak bracket was set up for mounting brackets ) |
