Bow light wiring gone bad
 

I went to test the wires for my bow light after the paint job and they are not continuous from the transom or console to the bow. How can I run new wires from the transom or console to the bow? I have tried to snake a wire snake down the bilge with no success. I am starting to get a little bit pissed off that I didn't think about this before I spent all that money on paint! Please help....you are my only hope.

You can try tying the new wires to the old ones and use them to pull them in.

I have had luck using a good quality garden hose with a small brass spray nozel on the end (the strait inexpensive kind of nozel). I push the hose through and when I have trouble I pressurize it by turning the water on and keep working it. I just used this technique on my 20 footer a couple of weeks ago. The hose when pressurized is strait and does not curl like a snake. When you get it through duct tape a piece of rope to the hose and pull it back out. I duct tape the wires to the rope with several wraps to reduce the hangups.

Last resort (I have seen this done) the wire was run under the rubrail to the bow (requires drilling two holes through the hull under the rubrail)
