Garmin 192C vs. Garmin 198C

Anyone know the differences? No T-Top yet, will the internal antennae be sufficient. Any feedback appreciated. Vezo.

198C includes a FishFinder. 198 only comes w/an external antenna. If you plan on getting a t-top you should definitely get an external antenna anyway. The 192 comes as internal or external.

Both units have all of the Bluecharts for the usa built in which is an amazing value.

Re: Garmin 192C vs. Garmin 198C

Thank you YachtJim. Just missed a complete NIB 192C ext. for $610 including shipping on ebay. Is there a Garmin model with similar features that could relatively easily switch from one boat to another? Would fit nicely on console of 20 MA and 15 Whaler. I know, I know. No I do not need it to come along in the Toyota. Most have the 188C and I like them, but savings in chip and lower cost is nice. Can't afford two. Thanks a lot. Vezo, Part II. 843 816 1516.
