1978 23' Seacraft Straight Inboard For Sale
 

1978 23' Seacraft Staight Inboard For Sale for $19,500. This is a great solid 23 inboard that I am reluctantly parting with. Powered with a 5.7l Bluewater Mercruiser freshwater cooled with approx. 1000 hrs on it. Motor just had manifolds riser and elbows replaced and tune up performed. Compression was checked and all cylinders were solid and even. Deck on boat has no soft spots and previous owner had all fuel tanks inspected and new sender units added last year. Has three tanks for a total of 150 gallon capacity. Full electronic package includes raytheon radar, gps, loran, vhf, auto pilot and color sonar. Also has newer hydralic steering which works great. Cosmetically the boat needs some tlc but is in relatively good condition for its age, outside hull is covered in blue awlgrip and interior is original white gelcoat which is showing signs of wear here and there. Includes canvas to cover console and full front dogger. Also comes with set of outriggers. Boat runs great very smooth ride with no vibration. good looking boat from the pictures. a little more info would help, such as is there a trailer included. what year is the engine? has it been surveyed recently? Capecodder, is this a rebuilt engine? And what do you mean by tlc? any more info could pursuade me to follow up on her.

The engine is 95-96 and has not been rebuilt and does not need to be, runs very strong and has great compression. Have taken several trips to Nantucket with it and it performs great. When I say TLC I mean that it needs some light cosmetic work, has one soft spot on bow railing where a rod holder was not properly sealed.
