Poll- teak hatches or leave em alone

just looking to see what you guys think. while most are replacing teak with starboard because of maintenance issues etc., i am going the other way and adding teak accents wherever I think it looks "sic",lol.(that means good i think).I am thinking of changing the aft transom hatches from the fiberglass on over to nice oiled up honey teak to match all the rest. i enjoy oiling it up at least once a week or when convienant. what do you guyz think about teak at that location? I would go with the teak if you don't mind the up keep, it gives in more of a classic look.

Craig,
My dad's Sceptre has teak hatches. He went with a semi-varnish (can't remember mfg) 3 seasons ago and it has held up really well.

You can just barely make them out in these pix. I may be able to get some better shots for you this week:

Mine are teak and they look sexy! I can't send any pics because my boat is in pieces right now, but they look great when on.
