1985 23' seacraft

I have been searching for a 23cc for awhile. Today I looked at a 1985 with twin 130hp yamaha(2000), T-top, trailer, so-so electronics and overall very clean. The guy is asking 25k for it. Does this seem in the right ball park? I know a closer inspection is needed but wanted to see if the price sounded right.

Sounds a little high, but not too much. Figure $3.5 to $4K each for pristine counter-rotating motors if used in salt. Add $6K to $8K for a really great hull. Trailer maybe $1K to $1.5K for galvanized, or $2K for a used aluminum. Add in good electronics, T-top, and CG equipment, etcetera. Maybe $18K to $20K? Just a guesstimate.
NADA book on the hull alone is $3070. Add in a T-top, riggers, etcetera, it goes to about $6K. Book on the motors is a hair over $4K.

Where is she at on the cape? I live down there and could take a quick peak next weekend. I just picked up an inboard for 18K and all she really needs to be funtional is a solid t-top/doghouse. Trailer included. Any ideas if the deck and transom are solid. Are the engines on a bracket or directly on the transom.

The motors are not on a bracket. The boat is located on the bourne scenic highway, halfway between the bridges, on the right hand side going towards bourne. The t-top is a pretty nice set-up. Thanks for the info you guys have given me. I've been lurking on here for quite awhile and when I saw this seacraft I knew exactly were to turn for advice. Anymore advice will be greatly appreciated.

Be sure to take a good solid look at the deck and transom. ask about the fuel tanks, are they original or have they been inspected recently. The price seems steep to me, but I am just a novice compared to most of these guys. See if there has been a survey done on here recently, and if there is ask for a copy. Be aware that, that is a lot of weight sitting on a cut out transom and you will have some water getting in through there.

mackbm,
From you what you say, I'm thinking around $20K, but that's without seeing the boat. If you're looking for opinions, I might be able to look at it real quick on Saturday. I'm headed to MV so it sounds like it's on my way to Woods Hole.

If anyone goes by the boat I would like to hear their opinions on it. You guys seem to have a good knowledge of these boats and their value. It seems 20k should be around the price. The boat has been there for awhile. I drove by it earlier this summer but forgot about till I went by it again monday. I honestly thought it would have sold by now. The guy might be holding his price.

I saw that boat on Sunday afternoon. I stopped in to take a look. The bottom of the console looks like it has a bit of stress cracks around part of it. Take a look at the floor near the rear port side mount of the T-Top, looks to be a visible crack in the floor. Maybe water got in?

I went back to take a look again. I am trying to get a good idea of the boat before I talk to the owner. What is the best way to tell if the transom is good? My brother noticed the transom had two shades, almost like it had been redone. I know a talk with the owner would answer that but, like I said I would like get an idea before talking to him. The deck did have some soft spots behind the console. The fuel tank was 133 gallons. Does anyone know what is factory? The deck and the fuel tank did look like they had been rework
