SC Knock-off
I presently have a 1975 20 SF and I'd like a little bit bigger boat. Looking at a Helms 21. They are out of Sarasota, FL. Don't trust "new Seacraft". Anyone have any experience with Helmsmen Marine?

Re: SC Knock-off
Looks like a nice boat, and pretty interesting with the Cummins/MerCruiser diesel package. It's almost half 20SF and half 20MA the way the gunwale cap is made.
Have you looked at the SC 21's? They are pretty nice boats and don't seem to have the quality issues the other models have had. |
Re: SC Knock-off
i'd also look for a used regulator 21.

Seriously though, That Helm's look's pretty nice and vaugely familiar. You could also checkout the Hellbay's, Jones Brother's, South Port and Jupiter. Their all real nice too. |
Re: SC Knock-off
I wouldn't look to hard at the Hellsbay,They are having some issues.
I will say that I had a 98'21 SeaCraft that I ran for six years and put hundreds of hours on , and never had an issue with it.It is a very nice boat and I kick myself everyday for selling it. |

"No Hassles, No Gimmicks, No Games" Doesn't this crap qualify as an advertising gimmick? |
