Installing additional thru-hull in 23 Savage
I'm prepairing to install a wash down/live well pump set up. Does anybody know where I might find a set of drawings to indentify the location of the stringers before I start drilling.
Thank you in advance |

On a 23?
You should have a good idea on where to drill the thru-hull from looking in the bilge. here are some pictures of torn up 23's http://www.classicseacraft.com/Toira...nsideafter.jpg http://www.classicseacraft.com/Mcgov...minprocess.jpg |
Re: Installing additional thru-hull in 23 Savage
Thank you for the reply. I forgot to mention this is an inboard configuration. Being a newbee to this boat, I didn't know if there was addition support outboard of the engine beds or if there is any floatation in the cavities.
Again thanks for the info. |

rgfettz,
That boat of yours is pretty rare (only 16 built). Do you have any pics? If it happens to be a jackshaft I/O, then it's even rarer, being the only one ever made. |

Hi Scott,
I haven't taken any pics todate. This boat came out of So Jersey. I think it was your posting that had pics of this project. It looks like the pic of your dads boat was taken off the Spit or 3rde Cliff |

Pic of my dad's boat - if you're referring to my avatar, that pic was taken near Peddock's Island. He keeps the boat in Hingham. Do you live on the South Shore? |
Re: Installing additional thru-hull in 23 Savage
Scott, Your correct on both counts. I have a shack in Marshfield

Where in Marshfield? I live over by Humarock. I'd like to take a look at your boat sometime.
