20' Livewell
 
My '69 20' has a livewell under the starbord stern seat. Does anyone know how to get it working? What pump and how to plumb it?

free flow, with a screw-in inspection plate cover for when it's not in use.

I think that's the original design, right? Do you use it like that? No pump?

Mine got "modified" a bit so I don't use a free-flow system anymore. The "modifications" that were done to mine exceed what most are wanting to do though.

The base of the livewell was raised to floor level. Water enters via a pump, overflow is out the port side of the boat, it drains by pulling a plug and letting the livewell water exit through the scuppers in the transom.
