1985 23 CC Value

Hi All,
I have 1985 23 CC with a rebuilt '94 225 Evinrure, Bennett tabs, Icom M58 VHF, cheap Apelco sounder, not so good trailer, boat is in A-1 condition, stored inside for last 10 years , used probably less than 20 hours in that time, What would be a fair asking price for this rig? Located, Nova Scotia, Canada, Will deliver to Bangor, Me.

Re: 1985 23 CC Value

Walter,

There is a big spread on the value of these boats. Maybe I missed this, but does the boat have a t top or not?

The big pricing variables are the shape of the engine (like every boat), transom and deck. A lot of the older SeaCrafts have decks and transoms that need work.

Having said all this, I would guess anywhere between 10$k and $20k,

Peter

Hi Peter,
The deck and transom are in good shape,no soft spots anywhere, also the boat has Hynautic hydraulic steering, the engine runs strong. I have an aluminum tee top for the boat as well that I made, the tee top is in o.k. condition with some repaired cracked welds ect.

I think location plays a role here, especially with a "not so good" trailer. Subject to seeing images, I'm thinking more like US$ 8,000 to 12,500.
