OTHER TOM ......

Tom
Saw a brief description of your awlbrite work on another site ... Nice descriptive steps by the way

Do you have any pictures of the finished product?
Would love to see them if you have some !!

Re: OTHER TOM ......

I need to get some updated Bertram interior pics to Jason, part of that will have some Awlbrite work on fighting chair, step box, and helm pod. There are some in the new album showing the fighting chair I ressurected, but not close-ups.... I became a fan of Awlbrite after almost a lifetime of Schooner varnish. Put some Bluewater ladder-back chairs and rocket launcher pieces next to my old varnish work and the differences are stunning. kinda like common-rail diesels vs. Detroit 2 strokes...the Epifanes / Epoxy undercoat with awbrite on top is used almost universally by the megayacht group in south florida where cost is not a problem but results are...

Where can I get this stuff and how much does it cost? I would only be doing the wood on my 23 and maybe a forward hatch on a 17 Montauk.
