Yikes! Thats gonna leave a mark! I can't believe that tower wasn't mounted to the deck, that's nuts!
Any word on the missing guy? I read threw that thread and there was no mention of him. |
Re: 32' SeaCraft eaten by Jupiter Inlet
You could see "a boat" doing what looked to be circles on the Jupiter Inlet cam....
Some of the pictures of the inlet looked pretty nasty |
Re: 32' SeaCraft eaten by Jupiter Inlet
If you look at the last picture on the FLorida Sportsman page, you can see a channel market with a 6fter breaking completely across the mouth. Reminds me of the Merrimac River inlet....scary stuff when it is going off.

Anyone have an update on the missing guy? You always hope people learn from there mistakes & past experiences, but not this way, I sure hope they found him.

Re: 32' SeaCraft eaten by Jupiter Inlet
Actually, if you look closely you can see the foot of the tower that was bolted to the deck right next to the bottom edge of the console, those waves must have been so strong they actually ripped the whole thing off the floor!

I see that now, but still, one spot on each side for a tower that size. Give me a break.

No need to put a backing plate on those bolts...idiots.

Re: 32' SeaCraft eaten by Jupiter Inlet
Jupiter Inlet can be pretty nasty. I have seen surfable waves breaking well inside the inlet. The river and the hurricanes have piled up some big sand bars inside the jettys. Sad story. :(
