Moving batteries

Planning on moving batteries from below deck in the stern to under the center console in a 23' C.C. with a 200 HP Yami. Would I use 2/0 or #2 battery cable?

The most accurate way I could find is to use a DC amp clamp to determine wire size. Use amp clamp to find max starting amps and consult a wire sizing chart, there are also formulas to determine voltage drop caused by wire lenght. I personally used 2/0 but i had access to as much as i needed (left over from a job at my work) wasn't tinned but I used heat shrink to seal the ends this is the same way I've had my jon boat set up for years problem free. Hoped my rambling on helped you good luck.
