I have a 1989 23WalkAround w/200 Merc, but I think you will really like it. I don't think the weight will be a problem as the scuppers go straight out the back.
I have a friend who runs a charter w/24ft Orca running the Honda 225, really likes it now. The 1st engine was a pain and Honda gave him a new one under warranty, which has run great the past year or so.

Leverette5, I just p/u a 89 23'CC and I have to tell you that I absolutely love it, so I might be somewhat bias. I believe I spoke on several occasion with the broker handeling the 89 23' in Riviera your referring to. From what I can remember that boat was used as a tender, let me know if thats the boat I might have some more info for you ;)

Keith I cant say much about the Honda because I have no personal experience with them, I have heard mixed reviews.
