1978 20' Sceptre's Forum Debut from Georgia

Hello to all. I just had my '78 Sceptre in the water for the first time in 5 years. Launched it Saturday at Lake Martin, AL. Ran great. It was my Dad's boat since 1980, and he and our family fished and scalloped with it in the Gulf waters around Crystal River for over 20 yrs.... Dad's now fishing upstairs where they always bite, and I have the privilege of carrying on the fun he had with this great boat! What a thrill when I found this website for the "Classics". I look forward to all the advice and great tips from other owners. I have a whole lot to learn, so thanks in advance to everyone. I will be ordering my Potter-built stickers soon!!!
