Classic 1974 SF 20’ Sea Craft for sale

Well maintained and all original. 150 HP'88 Evenrude OB Little Dude trailer. Beautiful boat that needs more attention than I have time for. Hull is very sound and water tight. Owned since ’86. Flooring is firm and no soft spots. Has the high bow railing. Yellow hull with blue antifouling paint. Transom needs inspection, it appears solid but it has the wood core and has been around for a while in the water. Trailer is in good shape structurally, replaced axle recently and has good tires, lighting needs replacement. Comes with many extras; large danforth with chain and 150 of ¾ rope, Raymarine GPS/Fishfinder, PVC frame for winter storage.
Email fish@nii.net if interested. $7,000 or B/O

Welcome to the site. Are you a member of MSBA?

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the welcome. No I'm not a member of MSBA but am a Member of Plum Island Surfcasters Club. Have recently evolved my passion for stripers from boat based to shore and kayak based. But I love to catch them any way I can.

One of my constraints is I've had an birth in the Parker River. To get outside to for mackerel or fish the beach, its 8 miles each way, the outing becomes a big time consumer and expense.

BTW, how was your big show last week end? I wasn't able to make it?

MassBass,
I've split my striper fishing between shore and boat as well, and got into the kayak thing last season (lots of fun). Sometimes it's a toss up on which way to go.

The MSBA show went really well and Gillette Stadium was a nice venue for it. The show committee did a bang-up job of putting it together in such a short time period.

Hey Scott,
I just happened to think you may know the original owner of my boat, its Ed Nowak, the field editor of the Fisherman Magazine. He named it Fishin Pole, and I kept the name. I believe he had some note worthy guests including Ted Williams on board. Ed still mentions this boat in his articles from time to time. This boat was on the cover of the Fisherman back in the late eighties. The picture shows me fishing from the bow; the Sea Craft moniker above the anchor hatch is evident.

Yup, I know who "the old gaffer" is. I've met him at MSBA meetings and fishing shows. That's pretty cool you have his old boat. Good luck selling it.
