New To the Board - just picked up my '84 SF20

Hey gang - just thought I would say hi. New to the community. Just picked up an '84 SF20 yesterday. Needs lots of love, but her bones are still very good. Look forward to the days ahead....

Nice snag. I have her younger sister, 86 SF20, same console.

Interesting top. How solid is that mounted on the console? I like how it does not intrude on the walkway. Good luck with her.

Is it me or does that console look like it is mounted way forward of the stock location?

the top is extremely solid. I was a bit skeptical myself, but it seems solid. will be different on the water im sure, and load vectors will be different than me pulling and pushing, but I am relatively confident in it. As for the console position, i am not really sure. Ill leave it up to you pros....
