prop size for 23'

Anyone have experiance with sizing props for a 23' with a merc 250 efi. I think stainless is they way to go to max performance but am having trouble dialing in with so meny different performance characteristics of different models. Thanks

A 19" is in the right area. I have a 23' with a Yamaha 250. I run a 14"X17" turbo or a 13 3/4" X 19" stock Yamaha prop. Both props do the job fine. The 19" prop actually does a little better.

I agree with Her Pay Check. My yamaha 250 efi is spinning a 151/4 x19 stainless prop and it seems just right. Dink

I have a 225 Optimax with a Mirage Plus 17P I think the diameter is 15 or 15 1/2". The part #48-18278. Either a 17 or 19 pitch should work, depending on the diameter.
