\"New\" Inboard/Question about deck repair

This will be my first post of many here, but I have been lurking this site for the last few years and have finally made the commitment and become the pround owner of a 76 inboard with a 270 crusader (some of you may have seen it on ebay). My question iswho does the best fiberglass work for these boats, and generally what would the cost be on putting a whole new deck in, new console, new tanks, and awlgripping everything. I know this is a very broad question, but any ballpark figures would help. Thanks!

Depends on what part of the country your talking up here get ready to spend some $$$$$$$$$ Nice boat though I cant believe that you got it for what you did  Up north if you paid some one to do the work it would be a big bill. Every penny spent to restore tha boat will be worth it!

I am willing to take it to the north or keep it in fl, after the reto it is going to live in montauk. I cant believe that i got it for what I did either, the thing is very solid besides a few spots and so is the motor, but I want a fly fishing machine. I am planning to put a High Speed Yanmar 4cyl in it, and a simrad plotter/ff with a 15in screen. But does good work and respects these boats? i have heard metan and hermco does, any thoughts?

I can't beleive you got it for what you did either.. That was the steal of the century. What was it $7400? I was almost going to bid but the guy never responded to any of my questions. Do you have any pics of the boat?

Good luck.

Look at Metans website the pics speak for themselves, they do nice work. I would think that the further south you had the work done the lower the price would be. I'm sure someone familiar with Florida's shops will chime in. Great deal on that boat again nice work!
