Tsunami cabin door

Does anyone know where I can get a teak replacement cabin door for my 1974 23 Tsunami? It is in need of replacement- has been "repaired" twice already. Thanks

Tsunami cabin door

I repaired mine once. Fixed it again after a weird wave cracked the doors.

There was a guy I found on eBay, a manufact in Fla, that was selling teak doors, solid though and he had very 'fair' prices ( I had given him the exact specs for my 23 Tsunami ). Sorry I don't have anymore info for you. Do a search on eBay and see what you come up with.

Having someone make exact, new louvered doors ? INSANE $$$$$. Not worth it ! Good luck!

PS: I used the West System epoxy to repair my door to perfection and not noticeable unless I pointed it out. Any repair to your exsiting doors would be cheaper for you by far. Even if you had to scarf a few pcs in like I did...

I make the "Louvered Cabin Doors" for the Sceptre/Tsunami and Savage models using Teak or Starboard. I've also done doors for the SeaFari model and custom jobs too.

Click on the below thread to check out my work and people's comments.

I bought a set of teak doors made by 77SceptreOB and they are a work of art. If he is still making them I would highly recommend him; also, a very nice nice guy to do business with to boot.

Yeah sounds like reasonable deal for teak i wish i would have known of him when i bought mine. My 73 Tsunami original doors were just three staggered pieces of planks that sat in place. I was dying to get rid of that setup.

Im looking for one of these now. Is this guy still making them? I sent him a message but no answer.

Sorry Entourage, I thought your recent PM was "SPAM". I've gotten quite a few BS private messages lately and have stopped responding to them until the rash of spam and potential harmful viruses have past.

But, YES I am still making the louvered doors. Either out of Teak or Starboard. Email me at:
bigpipe2 at yahoo dot com. I have a Starboard one "in stock" and ready to go...

Jim
