1982 23ft SeaCraft Sceptre For Sale

Well guys it’s time to part with my Sceptre. The boat is a 1982 SeaCraft Sceptre. The transom was redone in 2001. It originally had a sheet of ¾ ply and a sheet of 5/8 ply, I went back with less wood (3/4 and ½ marine fur) and made up the difference with glass, 15 gal of Vinelester resin was used in the transom project. When the transom was complete, I sprayed the boat with Allcraft 2000 fighting lady yellow. I replaced the rub rail, vents, “SeaCraft” emblem, and stripes. I had to have the stripes custom made because no one has 1½” tape anymore. I also installed the 12x12 DF Bennett trim tabs and rewired the whole boat. All fuel hoses has been replaced (fill, vent, and engine). The 144 gal fuel tank is in good shape as well. In 2004 I installed the custom made A&J Marine bracket and Sea Star Hydraulic steering, and recored the bulk head that the steering helm mounts to. The boat has dual batteries, that were replaced in June 2006, also has a 3 curtain enclosure and a cockpit cover (not pictured).
A Garmin 162 GPS with blue chart, Garmin 240 Blue fish finder, and Apelco VHF radio is included with boat.

The engine is a 1997 200 Yamaha that I purchased new in 1998. The engine has been meticulously maintained and is in excellent condition, at this time it has 680 hrs on it. I replaced the water pump and thermostats last year.

The trailer is an older Aluminum Loadmaster. I rebuilt the trailer in 2003. The trailer now has stainless U bolts and bolts. The springs, tires, equalization bar, and hardware were replaced.
I’m asking $15,500. I can be reached at 228-990-7415
Thanks, Steve

Thanks; it is turn key however it does need some cosmetic work. The top cap and floor needs to be repainted, and there is a small section of the floor that comes out (11/2ftX2ft where the deck plate is), that needs to be recored.

Do you still have the boat? If so, how much are you asking for it now?

Yes I still have it. I'm still asking $15,500 however I'll look at a reasonable offer. Thanks

:D :D Craig, the last time that I talked to Mike he had the floor back in it. He was working on building the bulkhead that is parallel to the transom. He almost had the teak removed from the outside. He said that was a real pain in the arse.
