Well as you may have read I am now the owner of a 69 20' Sea Craft CC I/O, I didn't waste anytime got her tucked in the garage and have all but 2 cleats removed, console, fuel tank, and all of the hatches. Tomorrow night I will get at tearing down the motor to get it out, so I can get to work on the floors, transom. I have thoughts of a 4cyl diesel for a powerplant, new console, paint, etc. This boat is already bringing back memories my Dad had this exact same boat,year,I/O, and even color, I am hoping to keep it away from him until it is done. This is my first so I will have loads of questions and with any luck may participate in the 07 Sea Craft rendezvous

Tha Volvo D3-160 would be a great powerplant for this boat although the 190 would make her even faster! If you have the 18k I'd say go for it!

Might want to change your sig from "boatless" to "owner/refurbisher". Sounds like you have started a good project. The rewards are well worth the effort..
Good Luck.

you can pick up the 120hp merc/cummins diesel with outdrive for about 10k. Probably not going to light the world on fire with speed but you will burn 2-3 gph at cruise!!!!
