Seacraft & Trolling motor question?

Has anyone seen a seacraft with a trolling motor on the bow or on trim tabs? I live on a striper lake and have to have a trolling motor, but would really like to get a seacraft. I would want it removable if it was a bow mount for offshore trips.

If you are talking about for a 20 seacraft then it is possible. I've thought about that as well. The 23 is really high at the bow so it dosent really seem practical for the larger boat.

I am wanting to get a 23'. I know they make the shafts really long, but not sure if it would still work. I know it wouldnt look that great, thats why i would want a removable mount. The other option is trolling tabs. A friend of mine had the Lenco trolling motors on the trim tabs. He didnt really like them much, hard to control, he had it on a 21 Angler. They would come out of the water and make alot of noise during any waves.

I have a transom mount I want to put on my 20 MA, you might want to go that way.

A friend of mine is a fly fishing guide in MA and he has a transom mount unit on his 20' CC. He seems to like it. I would love to do the same but I'm worried about tangling my fly line in it, as I fish from the back mostly while my buddies fish from the front. What do you call those telescoping poles on the flats boats that go straight down to hold you in place?

The PowerPole is hydraulic, but not telescoping.
