Spray rails/smart rails for 23

Hey guys...looking for some info and opinions. I did a search and found that Briguy installed smart rails on his flats boat, but was wondering if anybody else has used them or been on a boat that has had them. I was also wondering if you guys think that spray rails would make any noticable differance on a 23 or not.

I like the idea of not having to drill holes and keeping the spray down. I just wanted to get some opinions and suggestions from people that might know. I don't know anyone down here that has a 23 with spray rails.

Thanks,
Luis

my buddy had some on his 23. they were great. helped keep water down and helped the overall attitude of the boat, especially on the drift.

Ha Luis;

Water temperature in the Keys got to be some where in the 80 this summer. I would think a little water over the bow would be a good thing.

mbo-thanks for the advice.

Fellowship- water temp down here has been in the 80s with some days being in the mid-upper 80s especially in the shallows. A little spray is always nice, but under certain conditions people on board can get soaked. I just want to knock as much of the spray down as possible especially when I have clients on board. I have had a couple of trips this year that I ended up with seaweed on the t top...which I don't think spray rails would have done much those days any way!!!

Fellow-ship- I love the color of your boat. A couple of guys that I know have Conch 27s that color. My boat is white with a black boot, gold pin, and gray spider cracks in the bow lol!!!!

Here are a couple of pics from this summer.

I have more pictures on my website, but it doesn't seem to be working right now.

That looks kind of like Ocean Side Marina.
