20 sf after seats

I have been working on my 20 for several months now. I have rebuilt the transom, raised the stringers, built the new deck, which is not installed yet. I'm starting to think that I should cut out the original rear seats and make ones that are more user friendly. Ideally I think I should build them like Ikan had his done. I believe this would create more deck space behind the console. I think they should be shorter and also raised to gunnel height. I think raising them would allow for better drainage of the after baitwell, because I could have the bottom of the tank at deck level. I'm hoping for opinions and suggestions from some of our glass guys on the best way to do this. I would prefer not to use any plywood to do this. Should I try to make molds ala STRICK or layup some sheet glass on a molding table cut and fit and then tab and glass together.
